Our team is comprised of scholars who build evidence-based tools and resources informed by research experts in the field of anti-racism, anti-oppression, feminist theory, and trauma-informed approaches.

Founder & Director
Dr. Nicole Kaniki, B.Sc., M.Sc., M.A., Ph.D.
Dr. Nicole Kaniki is a research methodologist with equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) expertise skilled in strategic implementation of organizational EDI that is meaningful, intentional and sustainable. She is committed to EDI that engages community and allows the work to be informed by underrepresented groups through trust building in all aspects of organizational processes.
Nicole has extensive experience in leadership roles focusing on people first consulting, designing evaluations and metrics for organizations, and facilitation education and training opportunities and resources for clients.

Senior People & Culture Advisor
Zedia Walters, BBusAdmin, PGCRM, PGHRM
Zedia Walters is a trusted People & Culture Advisor with a proven track record of building inclusive, people-first workplaces. She brings extensive HR and talent acquisition experience, specializing in recruitment, employee engagement, and workforce development.
Driven by a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, Zedia partners with leadership to embed inclusive practices across the employee lifecycle. Her background includes business and HR studies, and she contributes her expertise to nonprofit boards focused on food security and social justice.

Senior Consultant
Evelyn Asiedu, B.Sc., Ph.D.
Evelyn Asiedu is an EDI data management scientist and leader with expertise in research, policy, and advocacy for inclusive academic and organizational environments. She advances EDI through evidence-based, community-driven, and sustainable approaches.
With experience at NSERC and as Vice President of the Canadian Association for the Prevention of Discrimination and Harassment in Higher Education, she champions evidence-based, community-driven, and sustainable approaches that foster equity, belonging, and innovation.

Senior Consultant
Ladan Mowlid, B.A., M.Ed., Ed.D.(c)
Ladan is an EDI scholar-practitioner with six years of experience in higher education and corporate consulting. Her educational background in Communications Studies informs her approach when working with clients to design inclusive and equity focused communications and public relations strategies. She is also a passionate educator who specializes in proactive and preventative EDI education, conflict resolution, developing and facilitating scaffolded EDI educational training, and program design, management, & assessment. She is committed to ensuring that the learning opportunities designed for your team are creative, future-forwarding thinking, applicable and sustainable.
